• What is the cost of adding Custom Helmet Art to my helmet?
  Prices start at $30 for Small (0-100 square inches). Medium (100-199 square inches) is $60. Large (200+ square inches) is $90. This price assumes you provide your own artwork in the required format or choose a graphic from SR's library. If SR has to modify your artwork, the rate is $20 per hour. Price does not include shipping. Shipping is $8.90 for standard ground.
  


• How is graphic sizing determined?
There are 3 graphic sizes:
Small (1-99sq inches) $30
Medium (100-199 sq inches) $60
Large (200+ sq inches) $90
Sizing is determined by the number of 8.5in x11in sheets it takes to print. 1 sheet of 8.5in x 11in paper is 93.5 sq inches. Most graphics will only require 1 sheet. However, if your graphic is an irregular shape or size it may require 2 sheets. email graphics@shredready.com with any quesitons.


• What are the file requirements for submitting my own artwork?
  For best results, we recommend submitting art work in Adobe Illustrator (.AI), or .EPS format. We can use JPEG format but it will need to be at least 150dpi (about 1700 X 1300 pixels) and some artwork modification may be required.
  


• How long does it take to add custom helmet art to my helmet?
  Normally, it will take 2-3 weeks to complete the order plus transit time for shipping your helmet back to you.


• Can I send in my old Shred Ready helmet to add custom Helmet Art?
  Yes, it is possible but the helmet needs to be in relatively good condition. For best results we recommend using a new or slightly used helmet.


• What if I don't like the graphic. Can I send it back for a refund?
  No, all sales are final on custom Helmet Art.


• Can I use 2 or more logos on the same helmet?
Yes, you can choose or submit more than one graphic for your helmet.


• I would like to purchase a helmet with custom Helmet Art. What steps do I take next?

• Can you do custom helmet colors?
  No, you must choose from SR's current selection of colors?


• Can you add company logos to helmets??
  Yes, we've added custom graphics for a wide variety of rafting company's, outfitters and instruction programs?


• If i submit my own graphic, can other people use it?
  Yes if you choose to. We have a royalty program where everytime your original art work is used on another helmet, you will receive a commision.


• Can you add custom Helmet Art to all Shred Ready helmets?
  We can add helmet art to most helmets except for those with rubber finishes. Which colors had rubber finishes? Carbon black and matte black produced in 2008 had a rubber finish. We will not producing any helmets with a rubber finish for 2009.


• Can you add graphics to others manufactures helmets?
In most cases we can. Please check with SR prior to sending your helmet.
