Describe the time you were most glad that you were wearing your helmet:
I'm happy I'm wearing my helmet everytime I hit a rock or drop something (like my boat) on my head.

What person do you respect the most?Who is your hero? My heros and the people I respect the most are my grandparents and parents.
They are passionate and go for everything with 100 percent commitment.

What movies/books/comics/TV shows, etc are you into right now? I just read a collection of short stories by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that were quite good.

What are you listening to these days? I listen to all kinds of music. I think my favorite at the moment is Slightly Stoopid.

What was the best concert you attended? There's three: Kid Rock, Jurassic 5, and Digable Planets.

What are some things that motivate you? I'm motivated to do the best that I can no matter what the circumstances.

What sports do you enjoy watching or participating in besides your main sport? In general I like most sports. I particularly enjoy road biking, ultimate frisbee, snowboarding, and long boarding.

What's the most fun you've ever had while participating in your sport? Every day I'm on the river.

What's the best trip you've ever been on?
I had the opportunity to go to China in December 2004, and it takes the cake.

When people look at your life, how would you like to be remembered? Not by my accomplishments, but by the person that I am.

What do you view as your biggest accomplishment? Living

What advice do you have for other people coming up in your sport? Make sure you have your priorities straight and are truthful with yourself.

One sentence that describes your life: It's damn fun!

Duran Duran, Tear for Fears, Hall and Oates, or Cindy Lauper? Why?
Cindy Lauper of course, there's just something about Time after Time, brings a tear to my eye.

Why are athlete bios always so lame?

This one was pretty good actually, most of the time they're just so dry, too long, and uninformative.
