Birthday: July
12th, same day as Julius Ceaser
Home: Wherever
there is water in the southeast but mostly Locust Fork, AL
Favorite Shred Ready helmet and color:
Shaggy with lime green flames
Describe the time you were most glad that you
were wearing your helmet:
I came down Gorilla and tried to to catch
the eddy after the notch. I missed the eddy while trying to use
the paddle to push into it. I fell off the waterfall backwards and
upside down. I landed on the back of my head and it made me smash
my face on the front of the boat which broke my nose. It gave me
a severe concussion. At the bottom of the drop I heard Charlie Beavers
tell everyone "He's cut, he's cut"
What person do you respect the most?
My friend Jake. He goes down the rivers
with us and he has no legs. He does not use any excuses of why he
can not go down the river. He is very happy to be able to do something
like kayaking.
Who is your hero? I
have many heros.
Lance Armstrong (surviving cancer and 6 time champion)
Opie Taylor (having to eat bean pies)
Most of all the people like Pablo Perez, Chuck Kern, Charlie Beavers,
Dave Norell, Rick Weiss, and Brennan Guth who died doing what they
loved the most or dies while living the lifestyle they loved most.

Trust fund babies going all over the
world when I have been paddling for eighteen years and dream of
going to some of these places. My friends and I talking trash to
each other.
What sports do you enjoy watching or participating
in besides your main sport? I
love watching and playing basketball. H-o-r-s-e anytime someone
wants to play BRING IT! I am in the southeast so I love college
football. ROLL TIDE! I enjoy watching snowboarding and surfing,
I think we can take alot from how those sports are organized and
have made it to the level that they have.
What's the most fun you've ever had while
participating in your sport?North
Alabama Whitewater Festival (NAWFEST.COM) It was a dream of mine
since I was a small kid and with the help of Surface Dynamics and
Alabama Small Boats it came true. There is nothing like watching
50 people one after another either go big or eat shit off a twenty
foot waterfall.
Every day is the most fun I have ever had kayaking but if i had
to pick one it would surfing Dries with Nick and throwing Air Blunts
at the same exact time.
What's the best trip you've ever been on?
Canada with Nick
What goals are you working towards right
now? Making the 2006 World Freestyle
Kayaking Team, gathering footage and finishing our first Production
Video from Rainmore Productions titled "Kuntry Fried Kayakin",
my new personal website (JeremyAdkins.com)and the world's first
TRICKIONARY (freestyle trick dictionairy), making the North Alabama
Whitewater Festival the best festival and competiton in the nation,
getting my own instruction business on the ground (Kayakclinics.com),
and continually pushing kayaking in the southeast and especially
Alabama.
When people look at your life, how would
you like to be remembered? Someone

with.
What advice do you have for other people
